This was done for both economic manufacturing and to create a lighter component on your vehicle to help increase mileage. Over the years like any other car part they can be damaged, vandalized, in accident and sometimes even broken from human error. We are now happy to announce that with the help of our partners at Gas Tank Renu that we’ve developed a Plastic Gas Tank Repair system.
Our system begins with an evaluation of your gas tank. While we can repair most gas tanks if the damage is along a seem it’s something we’re not aloud to repair. But if it’s a cut gauche or drill hole we are your answer. First we pressure wash your Plastic Gas Tank then perform a chemical clean on the interior of the tank then pressure wash it again and repeat if necessary to ensure it is pure of any oils of fuel. Next we repair any damage with our patented system and then move onto the pressure test. After complete you can request your Plastic Gas Tank premiered and or painted. You can even request a custom color if that’s what your vehicle requires.
If you’re within a towable area and can get you vehicle to Orozco’s Auto Service in Bellflower California we can take care of it from there. If you’re outside of our area bring your vehicle to a reputable auto repair shop and give them our information and we can coordinate with them to have your gas tank removed and shipped to us for repairs. lastly if you have the resources to pull your gas tank yourself. Be sure the gas tank is completely dry of any gasoline, box is up and ship it to us for repairs. We recommend UPS ground as the most reliable shipping option.
